Showing a huge improvement and 5.6% gain over just three months ago, the Android operating system now owns almost 43.7% of the marketshare.
Now, before the anti-Apple crowd gets out of hand, it’s important to note that up to this point, Apple has only one handset available on only two carriers. Android has over 6-7 handsets available on all four major carriers, and a bunch of smaller ones (yes, Cricket even has an Android device). Not to excuse the facts, just pointing out the fact that it does make a difference.
Also noteworthy, RIM with the largest loss. Down 5% from just three months ago in terms of market share.
